Support Women Artists Now

I happily participated in this years SWAN Day event event at the New Hazlett Theater last night and it was Grand. Tressa Glover of Nonameplayers put together this event and she did a great job! I made a custom gown to be modeled live at the show. It was inspired by a documentary interviewing females of almost every age that was given to all of the artists involved in the event. I also had some new fabric manipulation/dying techniques I have been wanting to try too that I incorporated.I really challenged used myself to create something that both women and girls could see themselves in and be inspired by with the elegance strength and beauty it conveyed. I am happy with the way my gown turned out and the reaction from the event goers too.
